Get to know a little bit more about Theresa!
🤗 When you're not at your shop what do you like to do❓
My shop is my home. When not making soaps, I love to sew, quilt, craft and soon will be dancing again.
🏙 Now that things are starting to open back up, what are you looking forward to with your business❓
I hope to do more craft shows and expand my product offering to include different soaps, sugar scrubs and gift items. Also to promote custom items for private events.
👋 What's a fun fact that people would be surprised to know about you❓
I love dance to zydeco music.
🧀 Tell us a favorite story from during your time at your shop!
Once I made pink guest soaps and gave them to my mom. She left them on the dining room table and my father thought they were candy and ate one. Ooops!
🚲 How do you think Bloc will help your business❓
I hope the Bloc will be able to reach neighbors who appreciate buying local and help me grow my business in this area. I was the soap vendor at the Watertower Craft Show in Chestnut Hill for many years. Since they stopped that show, I lost touch with many customers. Hopefully I will be able to reconnect with many of them.
🏘 Where do you live and what do you love about your neighborhood❓
West Mount Airy. I love the diverse community and their appreciation for gardening and artful living.
🧡 What is your wish for your community❓
That it continues to thrive.
